Author Guidelines
The Journal of Clinical Intensive Care and Medicine (JCICM) welcomes submissions from researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals worldwide. To ensure clarity, consistency, and academic quality, authors are required to follow these Author Guidelines when preparing manuscripts for submission.
Article Types
JCICM accepts the following categories of submissions:
- Original Research Articles – Novel research with detailed methodology and results.
- Review Articles – Comprehensive overviews of clinical and experimental evidence.
- Case Reports – Unique clinical cases with educational or scientific significance.
- Short Communications – Brief reports of preliminary or novel findings.
- Clinical Images – Concise visual presentations of rare or significant clinical findings.
- Letters to the Editor – Constructive feedback or commentary on published works.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be structured as follows:
- Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author details, ORCID IDs.
- Abstract: 200–300 words, structured with Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
- Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords.
- Main Text: Organized into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
- Acknowledgments: Recognition of funding, contributors, or institutions.
- References: Numbered in Vancouver style.
Formatting Guidelines
- Manuscripts should be written in English.
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced.
- Submit files in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
- Figures and tables must be numbered and cited within the text.
- Tables should be editable, not embedded as images.
Reference Style
JCICM follows the Vancouver citation style. Examples:

Ethics and Compliance
- Research involving human subjects must include an ethics committee approval statement and informed consent.
- Animal studies must comply with internationally recognized animal welfare guidelines.
- Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources.
- JCICM strictly prohibits plagiarism and duplicate publication.
Figures and Tables
Figures should be submitted in high-resolution formats (JPEG, TIFF, or PNG). Tables should be placed at the end of the manuscript or embedded after references. All figures and tables must be cited in the text.
Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Submission System. Authors should ensure that all files, including cover letter, figures, tables, and supplementary material, are uploaded correctly.
