To cover the costs of peer review, editing, hosting, indexing, and archiving, Article Processing Charges (APCs) apply to accepted manuscripts. Authors are only invoiced after acceptance of their manuscript, ensuring no financial risk during submission and review.

Exemptions

Editorials, invited articles, and content commissioned by the editorial board are exempt from APCs. Authors from low-income countries may request waivers or discounts under our Waiver Policy.

Payment Process

After acceptance, authors receive an invoice by email. Payments can be made via:

  • Secure online payment gateway (Credit/Debit card).
  • Bank transfer (details provided upon invoice).
  • Institutional or funding body arrangements.

Refund Policy

APCs are generally non-refundable once publication is completed. Exceptions are available in cases of duplicate payment or journal error, as outlined in our Refund Policy.

JCICM supports global inclusivity in research. Partial or full waivers may be granted to:
