Introduction
The Journal of Clinical Intensive Care and Medicine (JCICM) follows a structured and efficient submission process to ensure quality and timely publication. Authors are advised to carefully follow these Submission Guidelines and Manuscript Preparation instructions before submitting their work via the online submission system.
Submission Process
- Register or log in to the Online Submission System.
- Upload your manuscript and supplementary files (figures, tables, cover letter, ethics approval).
- Ensure all authors are correctly listed with affiliations and ORCID IDs.
- Complete the author declaration form regarding originality and ethics compliance.
- Submit the manuscript for editorial review and await acknowledgment.
Manuscript Preparation
Authors must prepare manuscripts using the following structure:
- Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author details.
- Abstract: 200–300 words, structured with Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
- Keywords: 4–6 relevant terms.
- Main Text: IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion).
- References: Vancouver style citation format.
- Figures and Tables: Numbered, with legends and citations in the text.
File Formats
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. Figures must be uploaded separately in high-resolution JPEG, TIFF, or PNG. Tables should be editable and not embedded as images.
Supplementary Files
Authors may include supplementary files such as datasets, appendices, multimedia, or extended methods. Supplementary files should be clearly labeled and referenced in the manuscript.
Ethical Declarations
All manuscripts must include:
- Ethics approval statement for studies involving human or animal subjects.
- Informed consent statement where applicable.
- Conflict of interest declaration for all authors.
- Funding acknowledgment with grant numbers if applicable.
Formatting Style
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced.

- Word Limits: Original articles up to 6,000 words; reviews up to 8,000 words; case reports up to 2,500 words.

JCICM follows the Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively as they appear in the text. Use PubMed abbreviations for journal names.
Cover Letter
A cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief must accompany every submission, stating:
- The originality of the work.
- Confirmation that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
