Introduction

The Journal of Clinical Intensive Care and Medicine (JCICM) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in publishing. Authors submitting to JCICM are expected to adhere to internationally recognized guidelines, including those from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).

Originality and Plagiarism

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration by any other journal.
  • All sources must be properly cited to avoid plagiarism.
  • JCICM uses plagiarism detection software to screen submissions.

Data Integrity and Transparency

  • Authors must present accurate data and results without fabrication, falsification, or manipulation.
  • Raw data should be available upon request for editorial review.
  • Clinical trials must include trial registration numbers (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov).

Authorship Criteria

JCICM follows the ICMJE criteria for authorship:

  • Substantial contributions to the conception, design, data collection, or analysis.
  • Drafting or critically revising the article for intellectual content.
  • Final approval of the version to be published.
  • Accountability for all aspects of the work.

Individuals who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged but not listed as authors.

  • Informed consent must be obtained from all participants or their legal guardians.
  • Animal research must comply with recognized international guidelines on animal welfare.

Multiple or Redundant Publication
